Distinction (Student Brand & Identity) — AGDA Awards 2021
Merit (Student Craft) — AGDA Awards 2021

Vertigo is the UTS student publication and is run by an elected team of editors and designers. With a distribution scale of 3000 to 4000, Vertigo is widely enjoyed by the student population and touches on many facets on campus life. Ranging from creative writing, poetry, politics, critical commentary and visual showcases, Vertigo is an inclusive, diverse publication representative of UTS.

As part of the 2020 creative team, we developed a variable identity that shifted and adapted to complement the theme of each issue. The masthead is leans into a lo-fi, home-made experimental aesthetic, representative of the nature of student work. Magazine spreads are designed specifically to match the content and across our six issues, the look and feel ranges from minimalist to wildly maximalist.

I would like to acknowledge the Gadigal and Bidjigal people of the Eora Nation, on whose unceded lands I live and work, and pay my respects to their elders — past, present and future. This is, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
